Winderland is a snowkite film produced by Snowkite Cinema in 2011. The film features skiers and snowboarders snowkiting in the backcountry of Utah and Idaho, and making stops at various events. It exposes snowkiting as a lifestyle and shows the vast unlimited terrain, and discovery of locations never ridden before. Athletes like Brad Gordon, Jacob Buzianis, Matt Thames, Jason Jermain, Chris Nester and Patrick Nedele exhibit different styles of riding, and pushing snowkiting in new directions. Film is 40 min long 16:9 shot in HD. Release in March 2011.

Sherman Island, located in the delta in Northern California, is one of the best kitesurfing locations on the west coast. Warm water, consistent winds, and kiting regulars make this not only a kiting destination, but it's own community with kiting days and campfires and BBQ's when the sun goes down... unless it's full moon which usually calls for the midnight session.
