Snowkite Cinema is dedicated to exposing the sport of kiting, professional and local riders, and new locations through the lens.
This winters kicks off with Project Blizzard and the making of Winderland, our first full featured film. Home base is Fairfield Idaho, with tours to various snowkite events and frequent trips to Utah. This effort would not be possible without the support of our key sponsors.

About us
THE MISSION:
Snowkite Cinema’s mission is to produce kiting films and videos to increase the exposure of this great sport and the exceptional athletes, to a wider audience. Those of us who are lucky enough to fly when the wind blows know what an amazing sport this is, and we want to share it with others to continue to build this sport and support the community. See the Videos for a more action filmed by the Snowkite Cinema team.
We are a non-profit organization. All proceeds go toward further support the kiting community and the promotion of the sport and riders.
THE CREW:
Snowkite Cinema is lead by Slawek Krauze along with a several other key crew members. We also may utilize authorized contributions from other media professionals dedicated to the sport and community of kiting. Slawek has been a kiter himself for the last 7 years, across multiple disciplines of land kiting, kitesurfing and snowkiting. His passion for this sport extends to his creative side, and he has been filming and taking photos of this sport since he started flying. He has produced several videos just for pure enjoyment, as well as several videos featuring professional riders or product launches for various companies.
THE GEAR:
We are currently using a Canon HX A1 as the main camera with various accessories such as wide-angle lens, LANC remote, Bogen Manfrotto 525 MVB with 503 fluid head, two professional tripods with fluid heads, Fig Rig, 12ft Crane with external monitor, Dolly, and Canon HV40. The editing platform is based on Mac with Final Cut Pro and several other edit utilities.
